A Set-Apart Message

This lovely group of women had a great time a couple of weekends ago gathering together for the Set-Apart Girl Conference that we were able to have via simulcast. I know I was greatly blessed by both the messages and the fellowship! Just a few highlights from Leslie Ludy’s sessions (just barely skimming the surface, here!):

Characteristics of a Truly Beautiful Woman:

1. She values the eternal over the temporal
2. She is free from self-promotion
3. She champions godly masculinity
4. She guards what is sacred
5. She finds her fulfillment in Christ
 

Characteristics of a Woman of Honor:

1. She uses her time wisely
2. She minds her own business
3. She governs her emotions
4. She points people to Christ and not self
5. She keeps her standards high
6. She doesn’t love the world


“Recipe” for God-answered prayers

1. Pray God prayers, not man prayers
2. Pray with faith
3. Pray with perseverance
4. Pray with purity
