“Southern Teatime Pleasures” is a delightful little book! It makes me want to host a garden party. Besides the many ideas for different types of parties written by Alda Ellis, it contains delicious recipes to try yourself, and is full of stunning photography by Julie Johnson! It is written in true southern style from a gracious host with lots of charm.
The ideas for cakes, flower arrangements, and the like are very creative, and inspire you to let loose your own creative juices and host a good, old-fashioned, southern tea party! After collecting all your ideas, this beautiful hardback would make a lovely addition to your coffee table.
